Step 1: Empathize With Audience
Tomorrow's Leaders Today (TLT) is a non-profit organization that focuses on developing leaders through education, collaboration, and mentorship with community and business leaders, benefiting the community as a whole.
Since its establishment in 2019, TLT has received numerous sponsors within the Texas community. They provide members within the organization with basic real-life and soft skills, higher education, and career readiness, as well as leadership skills to become engaged and future community leaders.
Step 2: Define The Goal
To appreciate the sponsors for being part of TLT's growth, the organization's founder and I discussed creating a thank you sponsors video that features Fall 2024 interns talking about how the TLT internships have made a positive impact on them.
The goal for this video is to create a well-crafted thank-you sponsors video that expresses the interns' gratitude for supporting Tomorrow's Leaders Today, encouraging the sponsors to continue building on their collaboration with the organization.
Step 3: Ideate The Goal (Brainstorming Phase)
In this step, before going with the thank-you video idea, I brainstormed other ideas that could work for this project. After finishing up my brainstorming, I shared the document with the organization's founder and the other graphic design intern.
After choosing the thank-you option, I reached out to other interns in the Discord server by asking them to make a video of them appreciating the sponsors. They would also talk about how their internship experience at TLT impacted their career growth.
Step 4: Reveal The Video
Here is the final version of the video that I created. I also created a presentation where I explained my progress on what I've done for the video for that particular week during the internship.
