Step 1: Empathize With Audience
Leadership Anna is a program of The Greater Anna Chamber of Commerce serving the area of Anna, Texas. It provides volunteers who assist them in building their leadership characteristics and skills. From October to April annually, Leadership Anna offers participants a significant leadership experience in the program, exploring targeted development to further hone their expertise.
Step 2: Identify The Goal
The main goal was to create new graphics for the Leadership Anna program. While working on the flyer, I needed to focus on communicating the program's value by explaining its benefits and core values.
Step 3: Ideate The Goal (Brainstorm Phase)
Instead of sketching drafts, I conducted visual research by exploring different flyer designs and layouts for the flyer that explains what the Leadership Anna Program is. While gathering visual inspiration, I also considered the program's color palette and visual elements that represent leadership, community, and growth.

Step 4: Reveal The Final Designs

Breaking Down The First Flyer Design (Above):
- The bolded section headers guide the readers' attention by showcasing hierarchy, increasing the headers' size, and decreasing the information size to small enough.
While showcasing the circular photos' visual interest, they also represent the themes of teamwork, learning, and success.
- The Leadership Anna logo, contact info, and QR code give the flyer a professional look and also encourage a call to action for the readers if interested in participating in the program.

Breaking Down The Second Flyer Design (Above):
- The word "CORE VALUES" is bolded, catching the viewers' attention right away when they look at it.
- Each of the seven core values has a unique icon that represents it while communicating the overall message to the target audience.
- The Leadership Anna logo, contact info, and QR code give the flyer a professional look and also encourage a call to action for the readers if interested in participating in the program.
